Letter Chase Typing Tutor is a Windows application that allows you to improve typing skills. It is possible to learn the correct finger placement. Tools for monitoring personal progress are available. Please note that Letter Chase Typing Tutor is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. It cannot be installed in Windows Vista or newer.
Training process
Users are able to select the required lesson from the corresponding menu in the main window. There is a large collection of typing exercises for learning the positions of all letters and punctuation marks on the keyboard.
Like in KP Typing Tutor, it is possible to run various drills to further improve personal typing skills. You can choose a specific row of letters to focus on specific keys.
After learning the positions of all letters users are able to train to write full sentences. There is a library of texts for different knowledge levels.
Tests
Instruments for evaluating personal progress are provided. You can set custom time limits and toggle sound effects. Additionally, the size and style of the font are adjustable. Detailed results are displayed in the main window upon finishing the test.
