MindMeister is a Windows online service that allows users to create detailed mind maps, organizational charts, lists of goals and other projects. It is possible to attach images, video clips and other types of files to individual blocks. Please note that the free trial version of MindMeister has limited capabilities.
Mind map creation
After registering on the official website you can access the main interface and select one of the included project templates such as the org chart, list, smart goals, etc. Alternatively, there is an option to begin building a mind map from scratch.
Like in Bizagi Modeler, users are able to insert new blocks into the workspace and connect them to each other. Instruments for adding personal notes and media files to the project are included as well.
There are flexible visual options. You can change the color, style and size of the font. Moreover, the background color and box shape are customizable.
A collection of standard icons like the envelope, briefcase, building, pie chart and dollar sign is provided. Users are able to place these symbols on the mind map.
Collaboration
It is possible to share the project with other people. You can add multiple team members to the list and send them invitation links via email.
The History mode lets users see all the changes that have been made to the mind map over time. This functionality is helpful for rolling back unwanted modifications.
