Mio Map is a Windows utility for updating geographical data on Mio GPS navigators. Like in Cobra HomeBase, there are instruments for receiving the latest information about any region from the official online database. Please note that Mio Map is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Update process
You are instructed to attach the GPS device to the computer via USB cable. The next step is to launch the program and establish a connection. It is possible to automatically download the latest map updates for a specific city, region or country and transfer them to the navigator.
Main functions
GPS devices from Mio allow users to manually choose the most appropriate route from multiple calculated options. Additionally, an option to quickly locate the car even in a crowded parking lot or unfamiliar area is provided.
There is full support for voice commands. You can control the software without having to take the hands off the wheel while driving.
The main interface is highly customizable. Users are able to view detailed information about the current location, route and destination. Advanced functions and settings can be accessed by tapping on the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
