Moparscape is a Windows software for creating private Runescape servers to play with friends. It is possible to customize various internal game parameters to create a customized experience.
Installation
After downloading the archive users can unpack the required version of the server to any directory on the hard drive. Please note that Java Runtime Environment is necessary for the correct functioning of all features.
Main functionality
You are able to integrate custom items and maps into the gameplay process. There is a powerful economic system for trading and exchanging the loot. A wide variety of other internal parameters is provided as well.
Users can change the amount of experience gained by slaying monsters and completing quests. Moreover, it is possible to manually adjust personal attributes like strength, agility and stamina.
Server history
This community project has been around since 2006 and became popular due to the adjustable gameplay mechanics. It was temporarily shut down, but came back online later on with a new team of developers. Currently, the server is online and offers users a viable alternative to the official game client.
