PiobMaster is a Windows software for bagpipe music notation. There is an embedded audio player for listening to finished songs. Additionally, users are able to design tutor books with interactive exercises.
Music creation
After starting the program you are prompted to select the required page layout and orientation. The next step is to insert notes, doubling and embellishments into the sheet. It is possible to customize the name and type of the tune.
Similar to Ludwig, users can group individual notes together and adjust their overall properties. There are buttons for inserting repeats and bars into the layout as well.
It is important to mention that the free demo version of PiobMaster has limited functionality. You cannot save or export custom songs. A paid license is necessary to remove all restrictions.
Player
Instruments for evaluating the song by listening to the automatically generated MIDI version are included. Users can change the tempo and loop the playback. Several virtual bagpipe types are provided.
Export
This utility lets you save the song as a PMB, BWW or WAV audio file. There are flexible output quality settings.
