MYOB Payroll is a Windows utility for processing payments to all employees in the company. You can track working time and calculate salaries based on predefined hourly rates. Please note that this application is intended for Hong Kong businesses.
Employee management
The program allows users to create and modify personal profiles with details such as employment history, leave entitlements, marital status, etc. Moreover, it is possible to adjust pay rates individually depending on recent performance.
There is support for different payroll categories like hourly rates, salaries, allowances and deductions. This functionality is helpful for calculating payments to various groups of employees. You can monitor worked hours in the Timesheet section.
It is important to mention that MYOB Payroll is a paid app. There is no free trial version.
Additional capabilities
Similar to EZAcct accounting software, instruments for automatically creating payslips are provided. Users are able to process mandatory government transactions like taxes and fines.
You can generate IR56B or other types of financial reports required by the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department. There are tools for automatically calculating tax obligations and PAYG leave entitlements.
