Nestopia is a program for Windows that allows users to launch games supported by Dendy consoles. It is possible to customize emulator settings and save progress.
Launching games
There is no need to install the program on PC. It is worth noting that the emulator does not include games. You need to download them separately. Similar to BizHawk, Nestopia supports NES, FDS, ZIP, RAR and 7Z formats.
Control
It is possible to connect external game controllers and adjust the panel parameters. To do this you need to open the Options menu and choose the Input tab. It is possible to create several profiles for various joysticks.
The program allows users to choose image quality, adjust brightness and configure overall lightness level. There is also an option of automatically saving current configurations of the emulator. A list of cheat codes with Game Genie is available. They enable you to complete missions and tasks in games way faster and easier.
And one more important feature is recording videos in good quality. It is possible to convert clips in AVI format. The application is able to pause and resume the taping process.
