NimoFilm is a Windows application for working with old photo films. The embedded processing engine allows users to automatically enhance the output image quality and retouch small defects. It is worth noting that NimoFilm is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Scanning process
This software contains instruments for importing pictures from any TWAIN compatible scanner. You can change the output resolution and adjust the photo frame to better fit the source film. Moreover, it is possible to configure automatic color adjustments. There is a preview window for evaluating the results before performing the full scan.
Editing tools
Users are able to manually resize and crop input images. Additionally, a collection of visual filters and effects is provided. There are options for rotating and enlarging individual slides as well. It is recommended to download Adobe Photoshop or another similar program to perform more advanced modifications.
Export
Processed pictures can be saved in multiple common file formats such as JPG, PNG, BMP and TIFF. The output resolution and quality are customizable.
