Novell Messenger is a Windows utility for exchanging text messages, documents, audio tracks, video clips and other types of files. You can manage the contact list by adding new people or blocking unwanted accounts. Additionally, there is an integrated calendar for scheduling future meetings.
Security
Similar to Troop Messenger, this program utilizes end to end encryption to protect personal information from interception by malicious actors. Users are able to manually configure how long the messages are stored and what content is allowed.
Please note that Novell Messenger is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Collaboration tools
You can create a private chat room and invite multiple colleagues to speak about a specific topic. It is possible to assign custom roles and permissions. Moreover, there are instruments for sharing the contents of the desktop with other participants and using digital whiteboards to brainstorm ideas.

The program allows users to adjust the visual appearance of the main interface according to their preferences. Tools for changing the font size, color scheme, notification sounds and emoticons are provided.
