OpenComic is a lightweight program for Windows that provides a free platform to read digital comics of various formats. It is possible to customize the interface and adjust the scale of pages.
Library
Users can import electronic versions of comics and images to this platform in order to create a centralized and personalized library. The application supports a vast array of e-books including CBR, CBZ, PDF, JPG, PNG, and GIF. There is an option to categorize and sort the groups of novels for ease of navigation. Moreover, like in Cool Reader, here it is possible to mark most beloved novels and add them to favorites for quick access.
OpenComic provides various customization options. For example, you can change the theme color of the interface to conveniently read content at any time of the day. Moreover, it is possible to create shortcuts to switch between pages, hide bars, add bookmarks and do other activities faster.
Reading modes
A built-in reader includes several modes to conveniently look at the pages of the comics. You may change the orientation, rotation and scale of documents. There is an option of zooming in and out to view texts with small font sizes or check the details of what is happening in a certain area. And last but not least, the program allows you to save adjusted settings so you do not have to apply them again.
