Similar to Box Drive, all data can be encrypted to prevent leaks and traffic interception by malicious actors. Please note that the free version of pCloud offers users limited functionality.
Main purpose
After starting the utility you are prompted to create an account. The next step is to select files and folders on the hard drive for uploading to the cloud server. Additionally, it is possible to set up automatic data synchronization between the local and remote directories.
There is an option to share files with other people by creating invitation links. Users can request access to another pCloud account as well.

Instruments for protecting your data with modern algorithms to prevent unauthorized access are provided. It is necessary to enter the correct passphrase to open the secure folder.
Settings
Users are able to specify custom bandwidth limits for communicating with pCloud servers. There is a checkbox for activating LAN synchronization to speed up file transfers.
