PhoenixSuit is a Windows tool for managing Android smartphones and tablets. You can update internal firmware, create personal data backups and remotely reboot the device.
Connection process
After starting the application users are instructed to attach the smartphone to the computer via USB cable. It is necessary to enable the ADB mode on the mobile device to establish a connection.
Firmware update
You can select the required disk image file from the hard drive in the corresponding section. The next step is to click the Upgrade button to begin the operation. Please ensure that the smartphone or tablet has more than 50% battery power before the update to avoid hardware failure.
It is worth noting that PhoenixSuit does not allow users to stream the contents of a mobile display to the desktop. There are other programs for this purpose such as Vysor.
Additional functions
Mobile games and apps in the APK file format can be remotely installed to the device. Moreover, buttons for rebooting the smartphone and entering recovery mode are provided.
Users are able to backup personal information like the contacts, text messages, photos, videos and documents. It is possible to restore saved data later in case of technical issues or file corruption.
