PMB Launcher is a Windows program for interacting with digital cameras manufactured by Sony. There are instruments for copying files to the hard drive and managing personal media collection. Please note that the Sony Picture Motion Browser application is required for installing PMB Launcher.
Import
After starting the software you are instructed to connect the camera to the computer via USB cable. Compatible devices are detected automatically. The next step is to browse the photo library and select images to transfer. There is an option to delete original files after the import to free up disk space.
Media collection
Users can combine photos and video clips into custom albums for easier navigation. Additionally, basic image editing tools are provided. Like in CPAC IMAGING PRO, it is possible to crop and resize individual pictures as well as apply red eye reduction effects.
Additional instruments
This application lets you create new logical volumes in the internal camera memory. This functionality is helpful for restoring corrupted partitions.
An option to play back videos with the Trace function is available. Users can analyze camera movements recorded while it was shooting to reproduce the panoramic image of the scene.
