PTC Mathcad Prime is a Windows software for solving complex mathematical problems using natural notation. It is possible to create custom equations and immediately get the correct results. Please note that the free version of PTC Mathcad Prime has limited functionality.
Calculations
After starting the program users can select one of the included formulas and equations or create new mathematical expressions from scratch. There are buttons for inserting various special symbols as well.
You are able to convert different units of measurements into each other. Additionally, tools for drawing graphs based on complex formulas are provided.
PTC Mathcad Prime can be integrated with Microsoft Excel. Instruments for importing spreadsheets and performing other operations are included.
It is recommended to use MathPlayer or another similar utility for the correct representation of mathematical symbols in a browser.
Export
There is an option to save the calculation results as a TXT file. However, complex mathematical expressions sometimes translate to text poorly. In such cases you are able to export the solution to a JPG or PNG image. This functionality is helpful for publishing the results online or sharing them with colleagues.
