QGIS Girona is a Windows application that lets you work with geospatial information. It supports a wide range of vector and raster image formats as well as databases and web services. There are tools for creating geoprocessing models and performing spatial analysis.
Main functionality
Users can import satellite photos and geographic data from QGIS, GDAL, SAGA, GRASS, OTB and other common providers into the program. The integrated print layout engine contains instruments for generating atlases with custom annotations, grids, scale bars and other elements.
There is a locator bar that allows you to quickly search for layers, features, actions and algorithms. Moreover, QGIS includes an expression builder with autocomplete feature, syntax highlighting and detailed documentation.
Viewer
Like in DNRGarmin, here it is possible to browse the maps. Button for zooming in and out, rotating the layout and adjusting the viewing angle are available. Users can quickly load content from the editor to evaluate the changes before saving the project.
It is worth noting that you are able to install various third party plugins to expand basic capabilities of the app.
