RCA Memory Manager is a Windows application for managing videos and photos taken by RCA camcorders. Like in TotalMedia Extreme, it is possible to trim, split and merge individual clips. Instruments for uploading resulting videos to YouTube or the Box cloud storage platform are provided as well.
File import
After connecting the camera to the computer users can browse the list of captured clips and images. There are flexible thumbnail size parameters for easier navigation. An option to erase source files after copying them to the hard drive is included. This functionality is helpful for freeing disk space on the recording device.
Double clicking the item will open the embedded media player. This lets you preview the videos before transferring them.
Please note that RCA Memory Manager is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available as well.
Editing instruments
Users can trim any clip, add background music to the project and create beautiful title screens. There is a library of special visual effects, frame transitions and filters. It is possible to upload resulting files to YouTube or Box cloud server. Additionally, small clips can be shared over email.
