RKill is a program for Windows with which users are able to shut down active malware processes. It is possible to prepare the computer for running an antivirus, for example Trend Micro and then fully scan the disks for various viruses. Besides, there is an option to fix wrong file associations and errors in political correctness.
How it works
The program is suitable for dealing with certain malware that block the performance of antiviruses. Users can search for active processes and shut them down without any problems. After this procedure, it is possible to complete scanning on a full regalia and identify suspicious files.
Please note that RKill does not delete viruses nor provides recovery options. If malware is included in a list of apps that run automatically, it will be launched next time you start your PC. Therefore, it is better to activate antivirus once you shut down such utilities and delete them completely.
Inspection
There is not a graphical user interface and the program does not require installation. The performance is executed in a command line and once you run RKill, a scan begins automatically. You can check detailed statistics of search results and see a number of identified active processes.
