RoomSketcher is a Windows application for designing building plans. Users are able to preview room changes in real time. Additionally, it is possible to add roofs, decks, patios and other exterior elements to the project. Please note that the free version of RoomSketcher has limited capabilities.
First steps
After starting the program you are prompted to select the required measurement units and choose a template for the project. There are instruments for drawing bathroom, gym, kitchen, office and restaurant plans.
Like in Home Construction Estimator, it is possible to add windows and doors to the design. A large library of customizable furniture items is available. Moreover, users can apply textures and solid colors to any element.
3D models
You are able to create detailed three dimensional environments. This functionality is helpful for evaluating the design from different angles and taking virtual tours. An option to preview the changes in real time is provided. There are tools for creating beautiful marketing materials and presentations as well.
The Home Designer module allows users to plan exterior spaces. Instruments for adding landscaping elements, decks and patios are included.
