Separation Studio is a powerful program for Windows intended for color separation prior to screen printing. It allows users to create single hue and CMYK half-tone patterns in vector-based formats. The split may be performed based on shapes defined in the utility.
Overview
The proprietary Spot Process engine which makes easy work of your professional screen print needs. The application auto detects the file extension, then properly divides the item into either Sim Process or raster spot color separations.
Thanks to the abundance of editing tools, you can isolate areas, adjust color and density, as well as control saturation and desaturation of hues based on range, choke and spread. In addition, there are options for merging colors, loading and editing custom template marks, ink or textile sets, and more.
Advanced functions
What is more, it is possible to print directly through a RIP program that uses a Hot Folder workflow and supports PS files. You are also able to save or export seps with or without marks to process from your favorite graphics software. If you would like to design and print labels, you may try corresponding utilities such as HERMA Label Designer plus, Avery Label Pro or TagPrint Pro.
