Sharpdesk is a Windows application for scanning, storing, organizing, viewing, editing, printing and distributing paper documents from a single interface. It is possible to automatically sort incoming files into corresponding subfolders based on a set of predefined rules.
Management tools
You are able to scan multipage documents and store the resulting images on the hard drive. This software can be easily integrated with a printer, MFP or file server. There are instruments for sharing files with other people on the same local network.
Please note that Sharpdesk is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Editing
Similar to PDF XChange Editor, users can straighten misaligned PDFs or pictures to ensure that all pages are correctly oriented. Moreover, an option to place a digital stamp on any page is included as well. There are templates for common terms such as Confidential or Approved.
It is possible to insert text annotations, leave handwritten personal comments and highlight important sections before saving the file. Resulting images can be processed by the integrated optical character recognition module or sent to the printer.
