SMRecorder is a program for Windows that allows users to record the screen of a computer display and save captured videos to popular formats.
Recorder
It is possible to record live videos on the screen of computer monitors. Users can control playback, add annotation messages and save media files. Similar to Screencastify, this application provides necessary tools to create clips for tutorials, presentations, lectures and webinars.
There is a timer on the homepage that shows the total length of recordings. There is an option to configure annotation images before you start capturing the screen. It is possible to select transparent color and import pictures from computer storage. SMRecorder includes basic editing tools in case you would like to crop or trim videos before saving.
Setting
The program provides a large selection of configuration options. You are able to set recording types such as desktop or camera video. It is possible to select audio input and adjust volume. In addition, you can customize the capture size and duration of your clips.
Other settings allow you to hide windows on recording, open a containing folder after you finish the process and convert captured clips. Please note that SMRecorder is an ad-supported program.
