Solstice is a Windows utility that contains tools for wirelessly sending images, presentations, video clips and other multimedia content to a central Solstice display. It is possible to integrate the program with existing room calendars for automatic meeting scheduling.
Streaming process
The first step is to connect the source device and target monitor to the same wireless network. After that users can start the software and specify the computer name for easier navigation.
There is support for simultaneous content sharing from multiple participants. Like in
Google Slides, you are able to annotate images on the screen and collaborate with colleagues on various projects.
Additional capabilities
It is possible to show custom photos or video clips on the Solstice display when it is not active. This is helpful for preventing unauthorized access to sensitive information. Moreover, users can view detailed meeting statistics to gather insights and data on participant engagement.
You are able to manually specify the IP address of the external monitor in case it is not detected automatically. There are instruments for configuring personal notifications as well.
