SS Session Planner is a Windows application that is intended for football practice planning. It is used by coaches to create custom game strategies and tactical maneuvers.
Drills
After starting the program you can select the type of the field from the included library. Tools for adding player figures, goal posts and other elements are provided. It is possible to change the color of any object for easier navigation.
There is a collection of training equipment like flags, plastic cones, ladders and balls. Moreover, users are able to insert text boxes into the workspace, place individual letters and create custom shaded areas.
Additional instruments
You can draw player paths, arrows and lines on the virtual field. This functionality is helpful for planning complex attack and defense strategies. The bottom part of the main window contains text fields for entering the description, player instructions and personal coaching notes.
The utility allows users to save individual drills and combine them into training sessions. Resulting projects can be exported to the hard drive as images for further processing in CPAC IMAGING PRO or another graphics editor. An option to send the layout to the printer is provided as well. Both colorized and grayscale versions are available.
