STDU Viewer is an open source software for Windows with which users can view documents in various formats. There are basic tools for copying texts and images.
Versatile viewer
It is a simple text and image file viewer that, compared to MuPDF, is more versatile and supports many popular formats including PDF, DOC, XPS, PNG and JPG. There is an option to open several documents and pictures simultaneously and easily switch between tabs. As mentioned above, there is no need to purchase a subscription or create an account in order to use STDU Viewer, it is a completely free software.
There is a straightforward interface that displays all sets of necessary tools for viewing files. You can go to any page of your document by entering its number on a bottom bar, split the images vertically or horizontally as well as search for text and match cases.
Tools
There are tools and options that let you view the files the way you want. It is possible to zoom the whole page, fit it to the screen of your computer and rotate the positions. Moreover, you are able to copy the selected text or image from the documents. There is a portable version of the software that allows you to save configurations and avoid leaving any logs while viewing files in other computers.
