StorYbook is a Windows program for writing and editing novels, short stories, screenplay scripts and essays in an efficient way. There is support for multiple languages and common file formats like HTML, PDF, ODT, TXT and RTF.
Story structure
This application allows you to visualize the chronological order of events in the story. It is possible to rearrange individual scenes. Tools for assigning custom tags to characters and locations for easier navigation are provided as well.
Similar to Dramatica Pro, users can modify character attributes such as the first and last name, gender, birthday and occupation. Additionally, there are instruments for modifying location properties like the address, city and country. The Description tab is intended for typing in detailed information about the place.
It is recommended to split long stories into multiple parts. Every chapter can contain multiple scenes.
Preferences
There are several integrated interface themes. Moreover, you are able to change the default font and resize all internal windows. The background color can be adjusted as well.
The included spell checking module supports multiple languages like English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, Dutch and Polish.
