Sure Delete is a Windows utility for completely deleting sensitive documents, photos, video clips, compressed archives and other types of files from the computer. Erased items cannot be restored by third party applications such as Lazesoft Recovery Suite.
How it works
Unlike the default deletion function, this program employs overwriting techniques, rendering data unrecoverable even with advanced techniques. There is support for several erasing algorithms like DoD 5220.22 M (3 pass) or Gutmann (35 pass) to ensure full protection.
Users can select individual files or directories to wipe. It is possible to drag and drop source items into the workspace to streamline the process. Additionally, an option to target free disk space is provided. This functionality is helpful for eliminating remnants of previously deleted files that may still hold important data.
