TCP Test Tool is a Windows utility that allows users to troubleshoot technical issues with the internet connection. It is possible to specify the address and port for the remote server. Detailed operation logs are included. Please note that TCP Test Tool is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Testing process
After starting the program you are prompted to enter IP addresses for both the client and the server. There is a button for establishing a connection with the remote location.
A text field for pasting data to send via the network is provided. Users can switch between ASCII and hexadecimal modes. Checkboxes for feeding the lines and returning the virtual carriage are available as well. Moreover, it is possible to automatically send ping requests at a predefined interval.
Operation logs
Similar to fping, you can analyze test results in the main window. There is an option to display all technical data in the binary, decimal or ASCII format. Additionally, tools for displaying timestamps and enabling sound alerts are provided. You are able to clear all logs by clicking the corresponding button in the right bottom corner of the interface.
