ThorroldFox IP Monitor is a small yet effective Windows program for monitoring network performance. Users can also identify their current IP address for safety reasons.
Setting up
The utility is distributed as an executable jar file. It is necessary to have a Java programming language installed in order to run this tracker. Other than that, users do not need to do anything as it is an open source application which does not demonstrate ads or requires any subscription to work properly.
Tracking
It is possible to check the current internet protocol address connected to desktops and laptops. Users can see if the communication is safe to establish and keep track of various network activities. However, compared to NetworkView, where the information is not displayed in real-time, the app needs to be reset in order to update the data.
There is a built-in logs recorder which saves all activities happening within the application. You are able to document the history of network activities for analysis and sharing. This is especially helpful to check how the internet reacts when you run multiple utilities throughout a whole day. The latest changes are displayed on the bottom side of the main interface.
