Twinkle Tray is a Windows utility for configuring various monitor settings such as the brightness, contrast, audio volume and power state. Like in DisplayBuddy, it is possible to interact with several compatible displays at the same time. Additionally, you are able to create keyboard shortcuts for quick access to all main features.
Brightness adjustment
After installing the software users can open it via the system tray icon. There are sliders for changing the brightness level according to personal preferences. This functionality eliminates the need to navigate through complex on screen menus of each display for tuning internal picture settings.
Advanced configuration
You are able to view technical information about all monitors connected to the computer. Details like maximum and current brightness as well as supported communication methods are available.
There is a drop down menu for changing the default brightness update rate. Choosing a higher value may help users reduce display flickering. Moreover, an option to automatically normalize brightness between separate monitors is provided.
