Ultimate CD DVD Burner is a Windows utility that contains instruments for recording text documents, photos, movies and other types of files onto optical discs. Moreover, there is an option to build and burn ISO images. The default cache size is customizable.
Recording process
After starting the software you can select the correct logical partition from the drop down menu and navigate to the required items in the integrated file explorer. The next step is to insert the disc into the optical drive. There is a button for viewing hardware capabilities such as the maximum writing speed and list of supported media types.
Users are able to drag and drop files to the right side of the main window. Instruments for building and recording ISO images are provided.
Advanced options
Similar to HT Fireman CD DVD Burner, you can customize the resulting volume label. There are checkboxes for finalizing the disc, showing files before burning, creating bootable media and ejecting the CD after writing. Additionally, a slider for adjusting the maximum cache size is included. The Joliet file system can be activated as well.
It is possible to archive individual items from the hard drive and automatically erase source data. This functionality is helpful for creating backups.
