UMPTool is a Windows application for working with USB Flash drives from different manufacturers. There is full support for the Chipsbank CBM2080 controller. Users are able to erase all files from the source storage device, even in case of hardware failure.
Formatting and partitioning
After starting the software and connecting a compatible USB Flash drive you can select the correct device from the list in the main window. Detailed information about the disk type, vendor, format mode and amount of Flash modules is displayed at the top of the interface. The next step is to click the Start All button to begin the formatting process. All data will be removed from the target drive without the possibility of recovery via Data Rescue or another similar solution.
Users are able to partition any storage device into several volumes. This is helpful for segregating files or creating bootable USB drives.
Encryption
There is an option to protect confidential text documents, photos, videos, audio tracks and other types of files from unauthorized access. You can specify a personal password for removing all limitations.
