VSDC Free Video Editor is a freeware program for Windows that allows you to create complex multimedia projects or enhance existing ones. The installation process is quite straightforward, however, it is recommended to pay attention as you might need to decline various third-party offers.
Import and modify media
To access the main functionality of the software, you need to create a project. The next step is to specify its type. You can start from scratch, or import your pictures and videos, record footage or capture content directly from your desktop screen.
In contrast to other video editors, this application gives you the means to rearrange your items, tweak their length and size until you are satisfied with the results. You also have the option to create new scenes and add them to your project, in case you are not pleased with the imported content.
Convert for specific devices
Once you are ready to save your creation, you can specify the target devices, so that the utility will convert files to a compatible format. There is support for a wide range of products, including iPod, smartphone, Zune, PSP, BlackBerry, Xbox, or PC.
Please note that you can add markers to your movie, export specific frames or extract the audio track of your project to use on others. It also is possible to burn the created clip to a disc. Alternatively, you may try a professional recording tool called HT Fireman CD DVD Burner.
