Vuze is a Windows utility for acquiring files from the web using the popular torrent protocol. It allows you to add multiple jobs and track the downloading progress. Instruments for blocking specific IP addresses from connecting to the client are included. Please note that the free version of Vuze contains limited functionality.
Main capabilities
This application lets users import torrent files to download content from other network participants. There is a job list that can be sorted by name, progress, size, speed, estimated completion time, personal rating and other attributes. Moreover, it is possible to pause and cancel individual tasks. The Play Now button is intended for watching movies and listening to songs before they are completely downloaded without installing an app like Tano Player.
Configuration
The Options menu offers you instruments for starting the client alongside the operating system, automatically pausing all jobs on exit and performing various other administrative tasks.
Flexible network parameters are located in the Connection tab. Users can change the incoming port, prioritize the UDP protocol and enable support for HTTP seeding. There is an option to reroute all traffic through a remote proxy server.
