WhatsPC is a Windows utility for evaluating the speed and health of any desktop computer. It displays detailed information about the processor, graphics card, memory and all installed applications. Moreover, a full list of integrated system drivers is available.
Running a check
After starting the software users are instructed to click the corresponding button to begin evaluating the machine. This process may take up to several minutes depending on the amount of third party apps and hardware components.
Scan results are shown in the main window. Similar to HWiNFO, you can view the amount of CPU cores, user domain name, OS version, memory utilization and maximum network speed. Additionally, details about the average boot time, graphics adapter model and installed products are included.
Suggestions
WhatsPC decides whether or not the PC is obsolete and recommends further actions. For example, users are able to install a lightweight operating system or replace specific internal components to prolong the life of an older machine. This functionality is helpful for making informed upgrade decisions.
