Windows HDR Calibration is a program for the operating system of the same name designed to optimize the high dynamic range settings on displays.
Before getting started
It is worth pointing out that this tool only works with monitors that support HDR format. Older laptops and desktops may not have such features. Before configuring parameters, it is advisable to check if high dynamic range is turned on Display settings. There is a step-by-step guide on proper usage.
Manual adjustments
With the help of the app, you can fine-tune HDR ensuring your screen shows the content with correct brightness, color contrast, saturation and accuracy. It is possible to enhance both watching and playing experience as you are able to achieve the highest quality in terms of visuals.
There is an option to manually adjust brightness and manage accuracy calibration to tailor the settings to your needs. You can switch between lighter and darker options for selected areas.
