Windows Live Mail is an official application by Microsoft designed to help users manage their emails, view inbox and exchange messages.

The utility is a mail client that comes in a bundle with Windows Live Essentials suite. Users can manage all accounts in one place and conveniently access their inbox to view and reply to new mails. It is possible to send and receive messages, apply documents and create a list of contacts.
As mentioned before, Windows Live Mail supports multiple accounts, you can sync all your data and receive mails without logging in and out everytime. The utility allows you to customize your accounts in order to set them apart.
In addition, being an official service, you can integrate Windows Live Mail with other Microsoft products. For example, it is possible to sync events from an email to your calendar. As with Word, here the algorithm shows spelling mistakes if you write one.
Current status
The program is discounted by its developers as of writing this article. You can still download it from non official sources, but its actual use will not be supported by Microsoft. Still, you have an option to try OneDrive, a new and updated alternative to Windows Live Mail which has similar functionality and more.
