Wireless Workbench is a Windows program developed by Shure for sound engineers and live production teams to monitor, coordinate and control wireless audio devices.
Coordination
The coordination engine scans the RF environment and automatically calculates the best available options. The app considers interference, intermodulation and hardware compatibility when assigning frequencies. Setups can be saved and deployed across multiple devices instantly.
It is possible to configure transmitter and receiver settings directly from your computer without physically touching each unit. This includes channel assignment, gain levels, frequency selection and power settings. Devices respond in real time, making adjustments during rehearsals or live shows seamless.
RF Spectrum
The utility provides detailed graphical representations of the RF spectrum, allowing engineers to spot noise sources, frequency congestion and intermodulation risks. You can zoom in on specific ranges and set markers to highlight problem areas. It is possible to save snapshots for future analysis or documentation as well.
Features
- similar to File Alert Monitor, this tool logs all critical system events on a time-based timeline;
- suitable for multi-system environments;
- users can create setups without being connected to hardware;
- possible to visualize input and output levels across wireless devices;
- free to download and use;
- compatible with modern Windows versions.
