WM Capture is a Windows program for recording the screen of desktops and laptops. Users can create comprehensive and professional videos with audio tracks.
What it is supposed to be
Once the recorder is installed, it becomes possible to capture pictures and clips on connected monitors. There is an output file export to popular formats including MP4. Users are able to save their projects as well as edit them with basic tools and annotations. However, compared to Screenpresso, advanced instruments and options are not available here.
The application is lightweight and can work in the background. There are convenient shortcuts which allow you to quickly access the tools and start recording the screen whenever you need. On top of that, it is possible to view the duration of your clips in real-time and control the playback.
Error
During testing it became clear that WM Capture is not working correctly. To be exact, an error appears a few seconds after launching the program. This defect does not allow access to the functionality of the recorder and automatically closes the interface without the opportunity to prevent shutdown. Such a problem might occur due to the fact that developers stopped supporting the utility.
