Workshare Compare is a convenient program for Windows intended to make the process of editing and revising documents both fast and intuitive. To be more exact, you are able to compare the original and the modified copy, and produce a Redline file to instantly see any differences between them.
Document comparison
The main goal of this application is to help you juxtapose one item against several versions or revisions within the context of one another. Thanks to the powerful comparison engine, you have the possibility to process extensive and complex documents. It is also possible to correlate auto-numbered paragraphs, font changes, and formatting in tables.
Navigate changes
After performing a comparison, you can open the resulting Redline file and see the differences between the original and modified docs. You have the ability to scroll through alterations by jumping from one to another or by searching for a specific change using numbers or keywords.
The utility allows you to save the comparison as a Workshare Compare DeltaFile, which holds all three documents, namely original, modified, and Redline. You also have the option to export only the comparison doc with DOC, DOCX, RTF, HTML, TXT or PDF extension. If you want to create and edit files in Portable Document Format, you may try another tool called Nuance Power PDF Standard.
