XRecorder is a Windows utility for capturing display output to a file. It is possible to select the part of the screen for recording, grab the entire display or choose a specific window. Moreover, you can draw on the video to highlight important sections.
Capture
After starting the program users are able to adjust various recording parameters. There is support for multiple common output file formats. The resolution, bitrate and aspect ratio are customizable as well.
Similar to ALLCapture, you can enable mouse cursor and keystroke highlighting to make it easier for viewers to follow along. This functionality is helpful for creating webinars, online lessons, tutorials and other educational materials.
Instruments for adding webcam and microphone output to the recording are provided. Users are able to tune the gain and volume attributes to improve the audio quality.

Editing tools
It is possible to split captured videos into several parts. You can trim resulting clips to remove unwanted parts as well. An option to schedule future recording sessions is included.
