Zabbix agent is a Windows application for keeping track of various hardware and software components on another computer. Users can collect operational data about the processor, hard drives and memory. All information is gathered locally and reported to the Zabbix server for further processing.
Data collection
Similar to HWMonitor, the utility is capable of automatically logging critical events in the system, hardware temperature sensor values and other important information. You are able to run the agent on devices with limited resources due to the small memory footprint.
Please note that Zabbix agent requires a UTF8 locale for returning expected content. Most modern operating systems support this standard by default.
Configuration
Users can conduct passive and active system checks. The former option is intended for processing manual data requests and receiving the results from the server. Alternatively, it is possible to set regular automatic checks to keep the computer healthy over time.
The list of possible command line arguments with detailed descriptions is available in the official documentation.
