Aurasma is an Android application that combines virtual and physical reality. There is a gallery with AR objects for users. It is possible to add various images to photos or videos.
Augmented reality
The utility allows you to create augmented reality with digital content and 3D animation. It is possible to impose various shapes on living objects. Moreover, it allows to addition of photos, videos, and other objects.
It is possible to create an account for Aurasma using an email. To access all the features of the application, you can grant permission to use your camera and device’s internal memory. This will enable you to capture various objects with the camera and overlay images from your smartphone’s gallery onto them.
Similar to SLR, you can view video in VR. However, it is possible to create their digital content. It allows you to add AR objects to buildings.
Auras
Aurasma has channels with accessible content such as animation effects. There is a search by name or username. Moreover, there is a tab with featured Auras to create interactive images. It allows to addition of a digital layer to the real world with Augmented Reality technology.
You can create your own Auras from your smartphone gallery. It helps you to create your own library with 3D models, video, sound, text, and other multimedia effects. It is possible to adjust the display to a particular angle or distance to the object.
