CB Radio is an application for Android designed for live voice communication in group channels. The utility simulates the operation of a PTT radio station or walkie-talkie.
How to use
Please note that for the utility to work correctly, you need a stable mobile or Wi-Fi network connection with a speed of at least 6 kilobytes per second. At the start, it is important to come up with a unique nickname. Then you can press the blue button located in the center of the screen to say something. Further, it is necessary to release the icon to send your recording and receive a response. You need to wait for your message to be delivered to users who are online.
It is possible to move to a menu and select channels for group communication in various languages. There is also a button that allows you to view the list of active users of the channel. In order not to hear reply messages, you can tap the Block icon.
There is a microphone check option. To do this, you need to go to an empty channel and turn on Echo mode in the menu. Then, it is necessary to record some phrases and listen to them later.
Useful remarks
It is worth noting that your message is delivered to other users with a delay because there is a queue in the current channel. If you want to use Bluetooth headphones, you need to select this item in the menu so that the microphone is active. In this case, when recording, you will manage this process by clicking the corresponding icon in the application. Controlling the headset with Play/Pause buttons is possible only in those models that support the A2DP multimedia profile.
