The app provides access to live TV from the HDHomeRun tuner. It is possible to watch, pause, and rewind programs. There is a consolidated list of channels for users with both cable and ATSC devices. Clients with a DVR subscription can access 14 days of TV guide data, while other customers get 24 hours. The information and images are officially licensed by Gracenote.
Users can plan their TV viewing, set reminders for favorite shows, and explore program details conveniently within the app. There is an option to schedule and save live TV broadcasts. It is possible to set and watch recordings from the HDHomeRun DVR. Access to summaries is provided.
Profiles and requirements
With this utility, clients may search for current and upcoming programs, as well as mark channels as favorites or hide them completely. The app incorporates parental controls, allowing users to restrict access to specific broadcasts based on content ratings.
