Kortext is an Android application, a digital learning platform that provides access to online and offline ebooks from multiple publishers. There are various tools to assist students, librarians, and academics.
Account and library
With this app, you can download your eTextbooks and work with all the same functionality as if you were online. There is a separate section with your personal library. Access to the ebook store is provided.
You may highlight and make notes on your ebooks, copy and paste text to other applications, add citations, and sync your notes across devices. The app is cross-platform, so you can use one account on your PC, Mac, or smartphone. Please note that to access your bookshelf on the Kortext platform you need to sign in with your email address and password. It is important to enter your institution’s credentials if you have them.
Additional options
There is a text-to-speech feature. It is possible to activate it by highlighting your text. This option offers an improved learning experience for anyone with disabilities or impairments. Moreover, you can complete interactive tests within your eTextbooks and get instant feedback on your performance.
Microsoft Teams integration is supported. Thus, you may add the app to your Teams to read your books. It is possible to pin Kortext to the taskbar and collaborate with your teachers or group.
