mAadhaar is an Android application released by the Unique Identification Authority of India. It is a technological solution to a presentation of ID in a virtual format or soft copy.
Modernized identification
Governmental authorities provide a variety of personalized services related to the document called Aadhaar obtainment and usage. Only residents of India who have a valid 12 digit identification number issued by UIDAI can request a digital license for paperless verification from the mAadhaar application.
For the convenience of the multi ethnic population of India, the application interface is offered in English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and seven more languages. However, due to constraints in the mobile keyboards, the input areas do not accept data entered even in Devanagari. Only the English language is permitted to evade the difficulties of typing in regional dialects.
Another tech innovation from India is the Union Budget app delivering annual financial papers to the public and stakeholders.
