Locations
This service is operated in many cities in the UK and the USA, including Los Angeles, New York, London, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, and others. The utility uses geolocation data to determine the charging stations closest to you. It is possible to view locations as a list or on an interactive built-in map. It is advisable to provide the app with access to GPS navigation, just like in MapQuest.
Powermat charging stations are located in restaurants, coffee shops, universities, and other public venues. The utility allows you to determine the points closest to you and plot a route. Additional information is provided regarding opening hours, distances, and travel times.
It is possible to search for points by names in a special bar located at the top of the screen. The utility allows you to save your most frequently visited locations as favorites.
Charging
With the application, you can activate the charger. To do this, you need to place the phone on the spot and press the corresponding button at the bottom of the screen.
For those devices that do not support wireless charging, a special Powermat Ring adapter is provided. This gadget can be borrowed on stations or purchased from the corresponding website. Please note that the information in the app is constantly updated and new locations are added.
