SkEye is an Android application for studying the starry sky. Users explore constellations shining above their location and other celestial objects.
Heavenly objects
You have the opportunity to see planets of the Solar System, comets, objects of Messier, NGC and other celestial lights. The utility offers two modes to study.
The first one is the classical one. You enter the coordinates of your place and see constellations and other objects in the normal 2D mode. The second is the work with professional equipment. The app allows synchronization of the smartphone with the telescope for the use of clues and visibility. Thanks to guides and search with arrow pointer you will know which way to direct the pipe to see the desired object.
There is an additional feature called Time Machine that allows you to plan night shooting stars observation. Moreover, it is possible to change the date and see how stars and planets will be located both in the past and in the future. This option is available in a similar Solar Walk application.
The utility interface is simple and informative. Intuitive navigation allows you to start exploring the skyscraper from the first launch of the app.
