SkyWiki is an Android application for amateurs of astronomy and anything related to outer space.
Space exploration
The app offers several helpful features that allow you to explore space and extend your knowledge about it. Users watch as the stars are placed in the sky, follow astronomical events and always know the exact time of sunrise and sunset.
The Skymap tab shows the sky moving. 2D shows the constellations and the planets in real time. A special option allows you to travel through time by changing date and clock scales. In other words, you can see the sky at a moment of interest. Solar Walk has the same features, but also provides the ability to explore the Solar System in 3D mode.
In the calendar you find all important astronomical events. For example, you can see information about the phases of the Moon, eclipses, solstices and meteor showers. Separately, there is a News section where the most important and topical space news is published from popular channels.
Periscope gives you a visualization of how the Sun and moon rise and fall as well as the trajectory of the stars. By the way, the utility offers you a compass that is convenient to use in travel.
