We Read Too is an Android application offering a collection of books by authors of color. There are almost a thousand stories for children, teenagers and young adults.

The idea behind the creation of this app is to collect books about people of color. Thus, children could read short and long stories with characters who look like them. The diversity this library promotes can be useful for caucasian kids as well. Reading such novels helps to raise tolerance which is essential for building a healthy modern society.
We Read Too does not have nearly as many titles as huge popular online libraries like Google Play Books. There are just about one thousand stories written by and featuring people of color. However, the collection grows regularly. Users are also able to suggest works they want to see represented by the service.
Books here are split into several categories, depending on targeted age. You can use the search tool to look for an author or title. Unfortunately, there is no division by genre. On the other hand, all the books are for young people, so there is no much variety anyway.
